A history of the International Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, prepared for its centennial in 2002. The book presents a history of the IAFWA within the spectrum of the broad conservation movement, focusing particularly on the debate over state vs. federal jurisdiction in wildlife management. Although literature on federal endeavors abounds, little has been written about conservation efforts on the state level, where in fact most of the responsibility for wildlife lies.
